A different way to connect with who you're really here to help
Forget everything you think you know about "ideal clients" and "target markets."
Action:
1. Think about a moment when you felt most alive in your work. When you were helping someone and it felt effortless, exciting, like you were born to be in service in this way.
Riff on some of your favourite client experiences, what did that person not know that you were able to guide them through? what did it feel like for you and them? who was that person? what was their expectation of you that made you a perfect match? what was happening in their world?
Nuts & Bolts Questions:
1. Who are you best positioned to help? As in, who is the easiest person to market, sell and deliver to?
2. Why are you the best person to help them? Sell me.
3. What kind of results have your best clients achieved? Put time stamps if possible.
4. Where are they committed to going? What result is their number one priority? This is their Point B.
5. Where are they now? This is their Point A.
6. Why are they where they are (Point A)?
Instead of asking "Who is my ideal client?" ask this:
"Who am I when I'm at my best, and who needs that version of me?"
Record yourself answering this. Let yourself get specific about the energy you bring, the field you create, what people experience when they're with you at your best.
